SVB 사태의 교훈: 금융감독 제도의 개선 방향(Lessons from the SVB Failure: How to Fix the Financial Supervision System)

This paper reviews policy reports and white papers to analyze the causes of the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) collapse in March 2023 and the response of financial supervisory authorities. Our findings indicate that SVB’s failure primarily stemmed from inadequate risk management and poor internal control systems, which were ill-equipped to handle the bank’s rapid asset growth.
