South Korea to combat voice phishing scams with artificial intelligence (AI) platform

The Financial Services Commission has unveiled an AI-powered anti-vishing platform enabling real-time data sharing between financial sectors, telecom providers, and investigative authorities. The system will operate two information categories: immediate sharing for instant account suspension and AI-analysed intelligence to identify suspicious patterns and prevent criminal activities in advance.
