SC Malaysia automated trade surveillance system

Securities Commission Malaysia operates an automated trade surveillance system, complemented by in-house advanced analytics, to identify and analyse suspicious trading. The SC went live on the SMARTS market surveillance platform in 2007; its 2023 annual report says the system and the trading-data feeds from Bursa Malaysia are being upgraded.
