Nithya Navaratnam - Deputy Head of Banking Department

Nithya Navaratnam was appointed Deputy Head of the BIS Banking Department in July 2024. In addition, she oversees the Middle Office, Banking Systems and Operational Services units of the department. Ms Navaratnam joined the BIS in 2020 as the Head of Credit Risk Management. Previously she held leadership roles at Goldman Sachs in credit risk management across their New York and Singapore offices.
