Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and industry partners complete proof-of-concept (PoC) sandbox on quantum-safe communications

The MAS, together with DBS, HSBC, OCBC, UOB, SPTel, and SpeQtral, published the results of a PoC sandbox exploring the use of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) for secure financial communications. Following a memorandum of understanding signed in August 2024, the trial marks a significant step in assessing the viability of quantum-safe technologies.
