Mario Draghi: European banking supervision three years on

At the ECB Forum on Banking Supervision in Frankfurt on 7 November 2017, ECB President Mario Draghi said that three years after its launch, European banking supervision had strengthened the resilience of euro area banks through more uniform and rigorous oversight. He highlighted higher capital levels, progress in tackling non-performing loans and reduced links between banks and their sovereigns.
