Lynx real-time gross settlement (RTGS) system was set up as a virtual replica of the physical payment ecosystem LVTS, aimed to anticipate the impacts of various configurations and participant behaviours on intraday liquidity before the implementation of Lynx, to simulate scenarios, analyze outcomes, and optimize the RTGS design.
