Linking Prefunding Factors and High-Technology Venture Success: An Exploratory Study

Examines the key prefunding factors which influence the success of high-technology companies funded by venture capital. The relevant literature on technological startups, including related work in entrepreneurship, was reviewed. Next, eight venture capitalists, who collectively have more than one hundred years of investment experience with high-tech firms, were interviewed.
