Kenya launches its first National Financial Inclusion Strategy

Kenya launched its NFIS 2025–2028 on 4 December to improve financial health despite high inclusion rates. The strategy focuses on expanding access and quality of financial services, strengthening consumer protection and literacy, promoting Inclusive Green Finance, supporting rural and women-led finance, and enhancing services for youth, MSMEs, PWDs, and the informal sector.
