Internal Credit Risk Analysis Tool (ICRAT)

The Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute (MEFMI) in collaboration with Innova Limited developed the ICRAT tool with an objective of establishing and strengthening internal credit risk assessment practices. Having been deployed and tested in 14 Central Banks in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, the tool has been a breakthrough in managing credit risk from reserves management operations.
