Innovation Hub now open for business, says FCA

The 2014 launch of the Innovation Hub was a foundational moment for global financial regulation, marking the first time a major regulator moved from a "wait and see" approach to actively "opening doors" for fintech. Under the banner of Project Innovate, the FCA sought to level the playing field for start-ups and incumbents alike, provided they could prove their products benefited the end consumer.
