
Financial regulators of Japan and UK announce Exchange of Letters on Co-operation Framework to support innovative FinTech companies
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Financial Services Agency of Japan (JFSA) have formalised a Co-operation Framework through an Exchange of Letters to foster FinTech innovation. This agreement establishes a regulatory referral system, allowing innovative businesses from one jurisdiction to receive dedicated support when entering the other’s market.
