
Conduct in a new era: leaders rejecting complacency
In his 2013 address to TheCityUK, John Griffith-Jones, the first Chairman of the FCA, set out a vision for a "new era" of regulation. He argued that for London to remain a global financial centre of choice, both the regulator and the industry had to move past the complacency that preceded the 2008 financial crisis.
