
Climate supervisory shocks and bank lending: Empirical evidence from microdata
In the absence of regulatory capital requirements on climate-related financial risks, this paper studies the short-term effects of how the progressive attention from 2020 by the Supervisory Authority of banks in Europe (SSM) affected bank lending channels via credit reallocation and different credit spreads.
