Central Bank of Italy publishes fintech classification methodology to support innovation

Building on its fintech sector support since 2017 through Canale Fintech, Milano Hub, and the Regulatory Sandbox, the central bank has developed a taxonomy for categorising fintech actors and services. The framework aligns with international standards and is structured across two dimensions: services and technologies.
