BIS Innovation Hub to explore promissory notes tokenisation.

In collaboration with the Swiss National Bank and the World Bank, the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) has launched project Promissa, an experiment aimed at digitally managing promissory notes. In most cases, these are still paper-based. The project will use distributed ledger technology to simplify their management and transparency.
