BIS CPMI takes further steps to promote ISO 20022 harmonisation for enhanced cross-border payments

The BIS CPMI is advancing the adoption of harmonised ISO 20022 data requirements to improve cross-border payments. In early 2025, CPMI will establish a global panel to maintain these data requirements and support industry efforts to develop fast payment guidelines.
