The Americas Office Regional Treasury dealing room was established in May 2020 to enhance the level of banking services and support regional customers in managing their foreign exchange reserves. With the creation of this dealing room, the BIS can now cover – through its operations in Hong Kong SAR, Basel and Mexico – all major financial markets around the globe.
