Beyond Parity: Increasing girls’ engagement in research, science, and technology to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges

This article argues that engaging girls in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is not merely a matter of achieving gender parity but is essential for solving global development challenges.
