This page provides an overview of benchmark regulation in the UK under the UK Benchmarks Regulation (UK BMR), which originated from the EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR) that came into full effect on 1 January 2018. Following the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, the BMR was onshored into domestic legislation and now forms the UK BMR framework.
