The BSP, in collaboration with the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), introduced the Agent Registry for Cash Agents in 2023. This Regulatory Technology (RegTech) tool aims to improve the monitoring of agent networks and bolster the BSP’s capabilities in strengthening financial supervision, consumer protection, and advancing financial inclusion.
